What it stands for

Viking Axe

A tool first, a weapon when it had to be. For the people who work with their hands: the tradesman, the builder, the first shop of your own.

A Viking axe head with a wide, curved blade. A column of knotwork runs from the top down to the edge, on both faces.

For most Norse men the axe was a working tool and a weapon both, cheaper than a sword and carried every day.

Wearing it

Your chain, or one of ours.

The pendant ships on its own, so it can go on the chain you already wear. Or add a leather necklace or a steel box chain when you order. The chain has to pass through the loop at the top of the pendant.

Care

  • Take it off to swim and shower.
  • Store it dry.
  • Polish the high points with a soft cloth. Skip dip cleaners: they strip the dark from the recesses, and the dark is what makes the detail read.

Questions

Is a chain included?

No. The pendant ships on its own. You can add a leather necklace or a steel box chain above the Add to cart button.

What do the protections cover?

Toning is a clear coating applied by hand before your pendant ships. It helps slow tarnish on silver and preserves the antiqued contrast on bronze.

Accidental Damage is repair or replacement for impact damage, a bent, cracked or broken loop, and deep gouges. One claim per pendant. It does not cover loss, theft, natural patina or necklaces. To file a claim, send your order number and a photo.

Which size should I get?

Medium is 1/2 oz. Large is 1 oz, twice the metal. The true size section above shows both next to a ruler and a quarter.

Is the silver solid?

Yes. 99.9% silver, cast as one solid piece.

What is on the back?

The knotwork is on both faces.

Where is it made?

Texas. Every pendant is poured and finished by hand.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 30 days, unused and in its original packaging.
