The Basset Hound is proof that determination doesn't require speed. With one of the finest noses in the dog world — second only to the Bloodhound — the Basset follows a scent with complete focus and absolute certainty, unhurried and undetectable by anything that tries to distract it. Those long ears drag along the ground and funnel scent toward the nose. The long body is low for maximum scent contact. The Basset Hound is, from nose to tail, purpose-built for exactly one thing: finding what it's looking for. This sculpture captures the Basset's iconic form in 999+ fine silver with an antique patina, every long ear and every soulful wrinkle hand-finished with care.

About the Reserve Edition
The Basset Hound is a Reserve Edition statue. Every size is limited to a maximum of 100 pieces -- 500 for the 1oz. Once a size reaches that number, it will never be cast again. Each Reserve piece ships with a metal Certificate of Authenticity, laser-engraved with the name of the statue and the individual number that matches your specific piece.
The Reserve line is for collectors who want something permanently scarce -- a piece with a defined place in a fixed run that closes for good. For collectors who want a specific Gold Spartan design without a mintage cap, the Standard Edition line remains available continuously.
Shipping and returns
Most pieces are made to order and ship in about 2 to 3 weeks. Larger and custom orders can take longer. Every shipment is tracked and insured. Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of receipt.
