The Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree, surveying its territory with bright intelligent eyes and a large beak built for catching prey that most birds wouldn't attempt. This sculpture captures the Kookaburra in full: the sturdy form, the large head, the expressive eye, the whole unique personality of this remarkable bird.
