Prospector Donkey – Hand-Poured 999+ Silver Collectible
Reserve Edition
Carry the Weight. Progress Has a Cost.
The Prospector Donkey doesn't search for gold — it makes the search possible. The pack animal of the American West is an undersung figure in the story of frontier ambition: steady, sure-footed, carrying the packs that made the expedition viable, never getting credit for the discovery it enabled. This sculpture captures the Prospector Donkey in its working form — loaded up, ready to move, entirely unimpressed by the terrain ahead. Cast in 999+ fine silver with an antique patina, every detail of the pack and the animal's sturdy form are hand-finished to bring this beloved piece of American frontier history to life in precious metal.
What You're Getting:
- Hand-poured 999+ fine silver with an antique silver finish
- Available in 1oz, 3oz, 6oz, 12oz, and 24oz
- Hand-finished for pack, harness, and full form detail throughout
- Marked for weight and purity
- Includes a certificate of authenticity
For the Silver Stacker and the Western History Enthusiast
A standout piece for western Americana collectors, silver stackers, and anyone who appreciates the animals and the labor that made the great frontier discoveries possible. Charming, detailed, and one of the most character-rich pieces in the Gold Spartan catalog.
About the Reserve Edition
The Prospector Donkey is a Reserve Edition statue. Every size is limited to a maximum of 100 pieces -- 500 for the 1oz. Once a size reaches that number, it will never be cast again. Each Reserve piece ships with a metal Certificate of Authenticity, laser-engraved with the name of the statue and the individual number that matches your specific piece.
The Reserve line is for collectors who want something permanently scarce -- a piece with a defined place in a fixed run that closes for good. For collectors who want a specific Gold Spartan design without a mintage cap, the Standard Edition line remains available continuously.
Shipping and returns
Most pieces are made to order and ship in about 2 to 3 weeks. Larger and custom orders can take longer. Every shipment is tracked and insured. Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of receipt.
What arrives in the box
Your statue arrives in a foam-lined collector box with a certificate of authenticity and a polishing cloth.
